Knock Out Roses

Have you heard the great new about Roses? Boy, I don’t know where I have been but these babies have been out now for a few years and they are sweeping the country!

I used to love to have a huge rose garden but then moved to the humid Midwest and found that if I didn’t use fungicide, pesticide, moldicide, this and thatacide, my roses looked just awful. But now………………

Knock Out Roses have arrived. They were created by William Radler in 1988 and in 2000 the Knock Out Rose was awarded the AARS (All American Rose Selection) award.

What is so great about this rose, you might ask? Well, these are the things go do not need to do with this rose.

• Prune
• Spray for pests or fungus
• Winter Protect

The breeder of this rose, William Radler, ever waters them from above with a sprinkler!!!!

I must admit, for the rose enthusiast, you will still want your antique roses and fragrant tea roses as these are a shrub rose but hey, they have a long blooming period too.
