- Plant fall-flowering bulbs (autumn crocus, Spanish bluebell, amaryllis)
- Plant bare-root vegetables
- Plant vegetable seeds
- Plant roses and prune existing roses in your garden.
- Plant bare-root fruit trees.
- Plants shrubs, vines and trees
- Spread new mulch
- Spray weeds when weather is warm enough
